Cindy Lou's BBQ knows what they're doing. I ordered the brisket sliced, with jalapeño rice and cheesy mash potatoes. The brisket is packed with a rich smoke flavory. I got the spicey BBQ sauce with it, and the sauce compliments the smokey flavor perfectly. I picked up a slight citrus flavor in te sauce and it is really nice. The rice was a perfect texture and consistency all throughout. Tons of flavor bursting in every bite. The cheesy mash was lovely and that velvet butter flavor was the perfect pallet cleanser as I worked between the rest. Definitely check these guys out.

Excellent offering of BBQ. I chose the sliced brisket with sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The brisket was smoked to perfection, so tender a knife not needed! The sides are homemade and were very good! The service was great too. This is a food truck but they have a small section to sit and eat if you want to watch traffic/people while indulging.

Delicious. Thrilled to have them in town. The smokey flavor in the meat was so good, every bite was delicious. Juicy brisket, crazy good Mac n cheese, really nice chaps cooking it up. Call any time during the day and tell them what ya want, when you’ll be there, and thank me later. Cindy Lou’s crew, keep up the great work!!

Homemade. That's the name of the game here. Everything has a unique flavor. The sauces are definitely a one-of-kind flavor. The regular sauce is tangy and balanced. The spicy sauce has just enough heat to call it spicy, but not too much for those that are comfortable with some heat. Large portions make it a good value. The side choices are really special. You can tell these are made by hand. Mac and Cheese is dense and cheese is high quality. But the side that steals the show is the jalapeno rice. This is a family special - you wont find this rice anywhere else. I bought a tub!

Great food, great prices. I love the pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese and the cheesy potatoes. I wish they were a permanent menu option, so I don’t have to check their Facebook to see if they will offer it before I decide to go. I got everything in the photos for $30. The spicy bbq is really spicy. I’m not sure why other BBQ places seem to get more attention than Cindy Lou’s, because I think it’s the best in Salem. I have never been disappointed with their food!
